UV DTF Transfers Applications

1. Preparation of your surface and pre-wiping of your UV DTF

Before applying your UV DTF, clean the surface of your item with soap and water or a 50/50 alcohol-water solution. A clean surface ensures better adhesion and longevity, especially when exposed to the elements or frequent washing.

2. Separating the Clear Carrier Sheet from the White Backing

Carefully peel the clear carrier sheet from the white backing, starting with a small tear. Eyes, not hands is the key here, especially for intricate designs. If parts don't come off cleanly, re-squeegee and try peeling again.

3. Placing Your UV-DTF Onto Your Item

Position your design on the desired area. For smaller designs, use two hands to carefully place it. For larger ones, start from one side to minimize wrinkles and bubbles. Leave a small corner of the carrier sheet free for easy peeling..

4. Completing the Transfer Process

Squeegee the design firmly to ensure adhesion. Then, peel the carrier sheet slowly, keeping an eye on the design. If any parts don't stick, reapply the carrier sheet, squeegee again, and try peeling from a different angle.
