HEAT PRESS
1. Position Your Design
Place the transfer on your garment, ensuring no large wrinkles are underneath. For tricky surfaces like hats or when using a household iron, secure the transfer with heat-resistant tape to prevent shifting.
2. Apply the Transfer
Press at 325°F / 160°C with medium to firm pressure for 15 seconds. Always test a sample first. Use a silicone cover or garment protector to avoid direct heat contact. More heat or pressure won’t harm the transfer, but too much may scorch the fabric. If scorching occurs, first reduce pressure; if needed, lower the heat by 15-20°F.
3. Hot Peel After a Few Seconds
With Easy Peel Technology, peel the transfer hot or cold. Wait a few seconds, then peel. If the design isn’t fully adhered, press again with more pressure and +10°F heat. Continue increasing heat in 10°F increments if necessary, as repeated pressing won’t damage ColsiumDTFTransfers.
4. Final Press & Washing Instructions
After peeling, cover the design with parchment paper or t-shirt fabric and press for 15 seconds. This final press boosts durability, softness, and reduces shine. For a glossy finish, use a guard sheet. Wash inside out in cold water and tumble dry on low, or air dry. Delicate settings extend longevity.
