General Settings

  • Temperature: 300–320°F (149–160°C)
  • Pressure: Medium–firm
  • First Press Time: 8–10 seconds
  • Second Press Time: 5–8 seconds

Step-by-Step

  1. Prep your garment


    Pre-wash garments if they’re likely to shrink.


    Place garment on the press, smooth out wrinkles.


    Pre-press for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture and creases.


  2. Position the transfer


    Place the DTF transfer print side down / film side up on the garment.


    Use a ruler or center guide to align your design.


  3. First press


    Cover with parchment or a Teflon sheet if desired.


    Press at 300–320°F for 8–10 seconds with medium–firm pressure.


  4. Peel the film


    Most Coliseum DTF Transfers are hot or warm peel.


    Peel the film in one smooth motion from one corner.


    If any part lifts, lay the film back down and press again for a few seconds.


  5. Second press (finishing press)


    Cover the print with parchment or a finishing sheet.


    Press again for 5–8 seconds to lock in the ink and smooth the finish.
