  • Second Press Time: 5–8 seconds

Step-by-Step

  1. Prep your pressing surface

Use a firm, heat-safe surface (not a soft ironing board).

Place a pressing mat or folded towel underneath the garment.

  2. Prep the garment

Pre-press area for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.

  3. Position the transfer

Lay the DTF transfer on the garment, design facing the fabric, film on top.

Make sure it’s flat with no bubbles.

  4. First press

Set Cricut press to 305–315°F for 10–15 seconds.

Place the press directly over the design and apply firm, even pressure with both hands.

Do not move the press around—keep it still.

  5. Peel the film

Allow to cool for a few seconds to warm peel, then peel in a smooth, steady motion.

If edges lift, lay film back down and press for an additional 5–7 seconds.

  6. Second press

Cover print with parchment or a Teflon sheet.

Press again for 5–8 seconds with firm pressure to finish.
